I am a senior journalist at the BBC and produce Laura McGhie's show on BBC Radio 5 Live.
I have also produced journalism for BBC Radio 3, BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio Scotland, The Scotsman, The National, Edinburgh Evening News, The Scottish Farmer, Rural Media, Choir & Organ, Cathedral Music, Dumfries & Galloway Standard, The Galloway News, Dumfries and Galloway Life​, Comenius News and France Matters.

As a classical tenor, I have performed for King Charles III, Queen Camilla, The Prince & Princess of Wales, Former British Prime Minister Theresa May, and The King and Queen of Belgium. I have performed at the BBC Proms, at Carnegie Hall, at Edinburgh International Festival, on BBC Radio 3, on BBC Radio 4, on BBC One, on Classic FM, on Good Morning America, on STV, with Sir John Eliot Gardiner and the Orchestre Romantique et Révolutionnaire, with Genesis Sixteen, with the National Youth Choir of Scotland, at Festival Berlioz, at the Three Choirs Festival, at the Philharmonie de Paris, at the Grant Park Music Festival in Chicago, with Hereford Cathedral Choir (choral scholar), the Choir of St Mary's Episcopal Cathedral, Edinburgh (lay clerk), the Choir of Old Saint Paul's Church, Edinburgh, the Choir of Paisley Abbey (Kenneth MacKellar Memorial Tenor Choral Scholar), the Choir of St Mary's Episcopal Cathedral, Glasgow, the Choir of the Chapel of the University of Glasgow, the Chœur Filigrane de Strasbourg, and the Chœur du Conservatoire de Strasbourg. I am currently resident tenor at The Grosvenor Chapel, London.
I am fluent in French and am a French politics expert. I have been a choral French pronunciation coach to the National Youth Choir of Scotland ahead of performances at the BBC Proms, Carnegie Hall and Festival Berlioz, and have supported the Three Choirs Festival in the same capacity.
As an arts manager, I have organised tours for Ensemble vocal Filigrane de Strasbourg. I co-founded the ensemble Cantus Firmus, managed concerts across Scotland and managed Spotify and Apple Music releases.
As a teacher, I have taught in France and Scotland with the British Council, Académie de Strasbourg, Collège Épiscopal Saint-Étienne de Strasbourg and National Youth Choir of Scotland.
I graduated with first-class honours in French and politics from the University of Glasgow in 2020. I won the politics dissertation prize and achieved distinction in spoken French.
